Weather: Night skiin, foggy low cloud

Distance Covered:

First time out on my skiis whilst Adam was on his snowboard.I decided to get the skiis out as I thought it was gonna be icy up there but it wasnt too bad overall, more powder than I expected.
I hadnt ski'd for a good 8 years and that was on a dry slope. My first time on snow so it was pretty much start from scratch.
My first run was a bit hairy mostly snow ploughing my way down. Then the second run it all cliked and it was just a case of leaning forward resting on the shins and then big toe little toe to turn. Easier to learn than snowboardin.
I could pretty much parrallel turn on my first run so it was just a case of tidying it up on each subsequent run where I was getting cockier and cockier building up more speed and eventually trying a few little jumps.
Had a few good crashes but didnt hurt myslef luckily.
Great fun and looking forward to my next skiin session, still not as good as boardin though, thats in a league of its own!
